Learn to Belly Dance
Learn to Belly Dance! Theresa designed the class for multi-level students; beginners to experienced dancers.
She teaches belly dance movement and technique though combinations and choreography. Theresa's teaching style is encouraging, passionate and energetic. She brings a playful attitude to teaching that makes learning fun.
Theresa is an international belly dance artist and instructor. She teaches in Overland Park and Independence and is one of the top dancers in the region. Theresa began her dance journey with ballroom and Latin dance before discovering belly dance. She travels to Egypt and Lebanon to perform and study with Egyptian and Lebanese master instructors.
Theresa founded the Heart of America Belly Dance Festival & Competition to bring her cultural experiences to the Heart of America. The festival is the largest international belly dance festival in the midwest, attracting dancers from around the world.
Theresa is available to teach workshops and private lessons on technique, choreography, improvisational skills, dancing to live music, and more. Email inquires to theresa@hoabellydance.com
